Washington, D.C. — Congressman Jefferson Shreve (R-IN) announced today that he will refuse his congressional salary if a government shutdown occurs. Once funding legislation is enacted, Rep. Shreve will donate the equivalent of his shutdown pay to the Johnson County Boys and Girls Club.

Washington, DC — Congressman Jefferson Shreve announced that measures he authored were included in yesterday’s passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2026.
Mr. Shreve voted to pass the NDAA through the U.S. House. It authorizes the budget and expenditures for the Department of Defense.
