Rep. Shreve Statement on Recent Flooding Across Indiana

GREENWOOD, IN – Today, Congressman Jefferson Shreve released the following statement on the severe flooding affecting communities across Indiana:

“My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the severe storms and flooding across Indiana. Over the past three days, communities across our state — including several in the 6th District — have been hit hard.

I’m grateful to the first responders, emergency crews, and local and state officials working around the clock to keep people safe and begin assessing the damage.

My office is closely coordinating with Governor Braun and state and local officials. We stand ready to help however we can. And at the federal level, I’ll work to make sure our communities have the support they need to recover and rebuild.

Indiana communities look out for one another. We’ve seen that again over the past 72 hours, and we’ll see it in the days ahead.”
