April 14, 2025
Washington, DC -- Congressman Jefferson Shreve (IN-06) marked 100 days serving Indiana's Sixth Congressional District. Since taking office on January 3rd, he’s worked with House and Senate Republicans and President Trump’s team to secure wins for Indiana and the American people.
Over his first 100 days, Congressman Shreve:
- Introduced his first bill to secure our southern border.
- Met with thousands of constituents.
- Wrote legislation protecting American energy production.
- Resolved issues with passports, social security benefits, tax returns and more for hundreds of constituents.
- Voted to cut spending, and lower the cost of living for Hoosiers.
- Helped advance legislation to extend middle class tax cuts.
- Supported the Laken Riley Act, which is now law. It strengthens our communities and public safety, by detaining and deporting criminal illegal migrants.
- Protected Second Amendment rights by supporting the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act.
- Fought to combat the opioid crisis by helping pass the HALT Fentanyl Act. By giving law enforcement the tools they need to keep fentanyl off our streets, we’re addressing that crisis head-on.
Congressman Shreve said, "I understand that Hoosiers want leadership that provides you with security. Whether it's ensuring financial stability, creating job opportunities, or protecting values that matter to our families. I’m focused on delivering solutions. I'm honored for this opportunity to serve. We've accomplished good things in these first 100 days. And we’re just getting started!“
