Congressman Shreve Delivers Remarks Affirming Pro-Life Commitment

Washington, DC — Following the March For Life, U.S. Congressman Jefferson Shreve (IN-06) delivered remarks thanking leaders of the movement for their commitment to the pro-life cause. His remarks can be viewed here.

Shreve said, "I'm honored to represent Indiana in Congress. And to join pro-life members in our resolve to protect human life. It's encouraging to witness the commitment from so many young Americans, as they take up the pro-life cause."

Congressman Shreve supports legislation to ensure innocent lives are protected. He co-sponsored the following bills:

• No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion: This bill ensures no taxpayer dollars will go toward funding abortions.
• The Support and Value (SAVE) Moms & Babies Act: This bill prevents the unsafe prescription and distribution of abortion drugs.

Last week, Shreve voted in support of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Act. The bill will protect infants that may survive an abortion attempt, by requiring medical professionals to administer life-saving care.
